Produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and a little Cabernet Franc and Shiraz.
The grapes were aged separately for 11 months in French oak barrels and then blended and aged for another 4 months.
On the nose plum, earthy, cocoa, spices, smoky.
Black fruit flavors, plum, toasted wood, minerality, green apple.
A successful wine, full body, smooth, long finish
Really a VFM.
